Rock School: Bring your unit to try abseiling!  Information about the day long activity is found here:

PL Training: A biennial day for Junior Guide and Guide Patrol Leaders to build up their skills.

Kirrawee Gang Show: Bring your unit to see our local Guides and Scouts perform in this lively biennial variety theatre involving singing, dancing, acting and comedy.  

Region Awards Day: An afternoon for girls who’ve earned a Junior BP or BP award throughout the year, to celebrate with theirLeaders and family.

Snow Camp: For girls aged 8-14 years. Whether they’re first timers or experienced skiers, all girls will come away with a great sense of achievement. The Leaders from Cook & Flinders Division have been running this camp for years and it’s now open to the Region.

School for Adventure: A week long camp for older Guides and Scouts where they participate in many adventurous activities and make life-long friends. It is always the best camp they have ever attended.

Boree Regatta: A weekend for both Guides and Scouts to participate in water and land activities in a fun and adventurous way.  Camp for the weekend or come for the day. JOTA/JOTI will be available over the weekend.

JOTA/JOTI: Panania Scout hall hosts a JOTA/JOTI weekend with radios and computers all set up to chat with Guides and Scouts from around the globe. Also held at the Boree Regatta.

Water Activity Day: Junior Guides can practise their canoeing and kayaking skills with qualified leaders.  Girls can attend individually, as a Unit Leader is not required on the day.

Events not occuring in 2021

Region Thinking: WAGGGS theme for this year is ‘Living Threads – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion’.  Come and join our key region event for an afternoon choc-a-block full of activities. 

Regatta Skills Day: Attending Regatta?  Get those boating skills honed for the competition.

Bindaree Blitz: A one day event where districts come to enjoy both water and land activities in a fun, themed, lightly competitive environment.

Region Campfire: Enjoy some fun activities before joining the campfire and help raise funds for a good cause at the same time.  This year we’ll be helping the Trefoil Guilds celebrate their 75thbirthday.

Region Orienteering Challenge: We’ve teamed up with Orienteering NSW, so bring your Guides for an afternoon of instruction and competition with other units in the region.

Caving Weekend: Come camping with the luxury of hot showers, flushing toilets and an indoor camp kitchen with tables and chairs, gas stoves and sinks with hot water while your girls develop their caving skills.

Arts & Crafts Showcase – Local waters: The finalists in our region arts & crafts competition on display – this year’s theme is ‘Local Waters’ exploring our local waterways for inspiration to create art and craft – program ideas will be out mid Term 1
