Our Region covers the southern metropolitan areas of Sydney – from Sydney Harbour on the northern border, down to the Royal National Park on the southern border, out to the eastern coast and as far west as the Georges River.
Southern Sydney Rivers Region Guides comprises 4 Divisions and the following Districts:
- Cook & Flinders Division – Hurstville Grove, Kingsgrove, Kogarah, Lugarno, Mortdale, Oatley, Panania, Revesby, Sans Souci, West Bexley
- Port Hacking Division – Caringbah, Cronulla, Grays Point, Kurnell and Miranda
- Sydney Central Division – Bondi, City of Sydney (Glebe), Daceyville, Eastern Beaches (Coogee & Randwick), Maroubra, Paddington
- Woronora River Division – Engadine, Helensburgh, Jannali, Loftus, Menai and Sutherland

We offer Girl Guiding experiences for girls and women of all ages:
Pre-Junior Guides: 5 to 7 years
Junior Guides: 7 to 11 years
Guides: 11 to 14 years
Senior Guides: 14 to 17 years
Leadership opportunities: 18 years onwards
Trefoil Guild: 18 years onwards

Volunteer Leadership Roles available in our Region
We currently have a range of volunteer leadership roles available in our Region for women 18+ years:
- Unit Leader – provides leadership to youth members in her local area
- District Leader – Supports youth and adult members in her local area
- Resource Leader – shares with adults or girls specialised skills in one or more areas of the Program.
By becoming a Guide Leader you can develop leadership and communication skills, meet new friends and make a significant contribution to the lives of others and the wider community.
You don’t need to have been a Guide to be a leader or hold any special skills – training and support is provided.
