GESS What?!

Guides from Bundeena, Grays Point, Jannali and Thirroul had a day of fun and exploration at the University of Wollongong's GESS - Guides in Engineering and Science Saturday - workshop on 16 September.

The Faculty of Engineering and the School of Electrical, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering (Faculty of Informatics), hosted this workshop specifically for Guides to introduce them to engineering and physics through various experiments conducted on the Wollongong campus. Four hands-on activities were offered during the day which enabled the Guides to satisfy the requirements for the ‘Explore-A-Challenge Science and Technology’ badge.
