Sutherland Shire Region Guides offers fun, friendship, challenge and adventure to all girls 5 to 17+ years, and women 18 and over, in the Sutherland Shire, from Kurnell to Menai and Sylvania/Como to Helensburgh/Stanwell. Do you enjoy making new friends and having FUN? - Exciting activities you can't do on your own (like having a sleepover at Taronga Zoo or Questacon or helping out at the Lord Mayor's Picnic on New Year's Eve - with a view of the fireworks second to none!)?
- Camping, hiking and outdoor activities?
- Getting involved in your community?
- Learning life skills?
- Singing? Everyone loves a campfire!

We welcome new members - ages 5 to 100+! | For Girls: Units (groups of 12 to 24+ girls) run in various suburbs for the following age ranges: - 5 to 7 year olds
- 7 to 10 year olds
- 10 to 14 year olds
- 14 to 17+ year olds
- A special leadership program also runs for 14 to 17+ year olds - these Junior Leaders assist adult Leaders with units of younger Guides
For Adults: - Unit Leaders: Leaders for units of all the above age ranges
- District Leaders: managing and supporting a team of Unit Leaders, along with the assistance of parents in the District Support Team
- Resource Leaders: Leaders with a special skill to share with Guides within our Region
- Olave Program: 18 to 30 year old women
- Trefoil Guild: for former Leaders who want to stay involved - or non-Leader adult women new to Guiding
- Region Team: event planning, publicity, training, administration, archives and camping - the possibilities are endless!
Note: All adult roles are volunteer positions and Leader roles are for women only. Leaders wanted - for the Experience of a Lifetime!Are you looking for a challenge?
